Gecko and Fly on a Wall Origami

There are a lot of really awesome origami lizards out there including one of my all time favourite origami models, Gen Hagiwara's Frilled Neck Lizard. Hopefully one day I'll be able to fold it.

This post is a collection of the best origami lizards (not including snakes, that'll be another post) that I've seen.

You'll also notice that you can now click on any of these images and a larger version of the image will open in a lightbox. I'm pretty excited about that and going forward all posts will be like this.

We'll start off with this awesome origami chameleon by Karol Kafarski. Since chameleons can change their colour to blend in you could use any colour origami paper that you want when you fold one.

Here's Gen Hagiwara's awesome frilled neck lizard and it's one of my favourite origami models. One day I hope to get the diagrams and try folding this.

This has to be the most beautiful origami lizard I've ever seen. It's folded very well and the paper colour looks fantastic.

Here's Chris Heynen's lizard again with a different folder. As you can see, using a different colour of paper makes a huge difference.

I realize that axolotls technically aren't lizards but they look sort of lizard like and I'm going to include them in this post anyways.

This is a really cool design of an armadillo lizard which is a lizard that can actually curl itself into a little ball.

The only reason why I've included so many frilled neck lizards in this post is because they're awesome.
